Biography

Dan Gratz serves as director of alumni engagement for the College of Business, where he works to strengthen connections between alumni, students, faculty and the broader business community. With a professional background spanning higher education, athletics, fundraising and community engagement, Dan has built his career around developing meaningful relationships and creating opportunities for people to connect, contribute and make an impact.

Prior to joining NIU, Dan held leadership roles in higher education with the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Iowa and North Iowa Area Community College, as well as roles in K-12 education with Austin Independent School District (Texas) and the School District of Beloit (Wisconsin).

Dan is passionate about building an engaged alumni community, creating opportunities for Huskies to support one another, and helping NIU College of Business alumni remain connected to the university and to each other long after graduation.
